Prayer
Romans 8:26 And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.
This is one of my favorite passages in the Bible. So often we don’t know how or what to pray about a situation or circumstance. How delightful it is to know that the Holy Spirit knows exactly what needs to be said to make our prayers perfect and He’s interceding on our behalf. That makes my heart sing for joy.I would encourage you to ask God for an extra measure of faith if you find that your faith is not what or
where it should be.
In Mark 7:23-24 it says “What do you mean, “if I can?” Jesus asked, “Anything is possible if a person believes.” The father instantly cried out, “I do believe, but help me overcome my unbelief.” God knows your heart, ask Him to help you overcome your unbelief. When He tells us to bring our prayers and petitions to Him with thanksgiving, it doesn’t just mean thanking Him for what He’s already done. We can thank Him in advance for what He’s going to do that we haven’t yet seen manifest in the natural physical realm.
Father God, thank you for all that you have already done in our lives and all that you have yet to do.
